Dr Karen Falloon

Karen is an academic GP and a senior lecturer in the Centre for Medical and Health Sciences Education and the Clinical Skills Centre at the University of Auckland. She is a fellow of the RNZCGP and completed a PhD investigating the behavioural treatment of insomnia. She has worked both in general practice and in private sleep clinics and runs a Sleep Clinician peer group facilitating ongoing education and community for a multidisciplinary group of clinicians. She is a member of the Australasian Sleep Society and World Sleep Society. Her current research areas of interest include sleep health, sleep in medical students, and sleep education.
